Alagie Malick Ndure, a young and talented creative artist who is passionate about arts has been creating proto estate housing, as well as house painting and tattooing for the past years.
Graduated from Omar Bun Jeng Islamic School and currently a grade 11 student at Bottrop Senior Secondary School, Mr. Ndure said his love for arts began since he was a little boy.
The young artist explained how he creates miniature housing estate using cartons, glue and paint, He said his works are good showcases for the grade nine students, who are required to present practical art works as part of the West African Examination for junior school.
With the emergence of young people getting into creative arts, one might think it is the easy way out. However, Mr. Ndure lamented that he faces a lot of challenge as he buys all the materials that he would need for his work.
He said that the materials he uses for his work are expensive and he is receiving very little support from people, and that even those who support him always ask for discount.
The young artist said that the country needs talented youth to venture in creative arts business as well as the support of the government to keep them motivated.
