The Vice President of The Gambia, His Excellency Mohammed B.S Jallow, on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023, received a delegation of the senior management team from Rainbow Foundation, a reputable international charity organization based in the Netherlands.
The purpose of the meeting with the Vice President was to engage in constructive discussions about advancing education and healthcare initiatives in the country.
Mr. Wim Annen, chairman of the Rainbow Foundation, expressed his pleasure about meeting Vice President Jallow. He conveyed the Foundation’s commitment to the nation, stating, “The Gambia is our second homeland. Our foundation has a lot of volunteers, and we are actively involved in the construction of schools and hospitals, he said.”
During the meeting, Vice President Jallow underscored the importance of collaborative efforts between the government and philanthropic organizations like the Rainbow Foundation. He acknowledged the significant impact of the foundation’s projects on the nation’s development, particularly in the crucial sectors of education and healthcare.
Furthermore, VP Jallow assured them of the continuous support from the government in fostering partnerships that will contribute to the overall progress and welfare of the nation.
The discussions concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing their commitments to sustained collaboration for the betterment of the Gambia’s socio-economic landscape.
