The CSO watchdog project is funded by the European Union. The project aims to enhance civil society capacity for increased participation in the implementation of the new NDP in The Gambia. In his opening remarks, Amadou Sambou, Manager, School Development Unit, Future in Our Hands The Gambia, affirmed that the dialogue was to sensitise stake[1]holders on the Recovery-Focused National Development Plan that will address their development trajectories since the commencement of the project. “We have sensitised over thou[1]sand people on the new NDP and traditional communicators were also trained on the popularisation of the then National Development Plan,” Sambou informed. At the end of the interface, participants expressed appreciation to FIOHTG for the well-coordinated training on the RF-NDP. The presentation was facilitated by Samba Sowe from the Ministry of Finance & Economic Affairs. The Ministry of Finance is the custodian of the RF-NDP.
