On Tuesday, 3rd September 2024, at the State House, the Vice President of The Gambia, His Excellency Mohammed B.S Jallow welcomed a delegation from The Association of Non-Governmental Organisations in The Gambia (TANGO).
Led by Chairperson Ms. Yadicon Njie Eribo, the executive members engaged in significant discussions with the Vice President concerning their work, the proposed constitution, the NGO bill, and fostering collaboration between civil society and the government.
Founded in 1983, TANGO serves as the pivotal umbrella organisation for NGOs across The Gambia.
The meeting marked a vital step forward towards dialogue aimed at strengthening partnerships that support the nation’s civil society
