Banjul, 11th March 2025: The Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, together with the Gambia Tourism Board and key tourism stakeholders, recently participated in the Internationale Tourismus Börse (ITB), the world’s largest tourism trade fair in Berlin, Germany.
According to officials of the Board, this prestigious international event serves as a crucial platform for promoting Destination Gambia to a global audience, focusing on the German market, which remains a significant source of visitors.
Participation in this event is instrumental in positioning The Gambia as a top tourism destination, fostering sustainable growth within the sector, and ensuring a competitive presence in the global travel market.
Through strategic networking and promotional efforts, The Gambia seeks to reaffirm its appeal and expand its reach among European travelers, ultimately driving more arrivals and boosting the country’s tourism economy.
