The Gambian Ambassador to South Africa, Fatoumata Jahumpa Ceesay last week led a group of investors from South Africa to the Office of the Vice President at State House.

The meeting with the Vice President bordered on investment opportunity in pharmaceutical equipment, drug manufacturing, and a testing lab for medical drugs.

The Vice President highlighted the need for a drug testing lab to address challenges faced by the Medicines Control Agency (MCA), and promote drug availability and export opportunities.
