The Vice President, His Excellency Mohammed B.S. Jallow, last week received the leadership of the National Association of Co-operative Credit Unions of The Gambia (NACCUG) at State House.
During the meeting, the Association briefed the Vice President on their ongoing activities in both urban and rural areas of The Gambia. They also highlighted the challenges they face, particularly in capacity development in rural areas, and sought government support in these efforts.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Foday A. Sanyang, General Manager of NACCUG, expressed gratitude for the warm reception.
He said they discussed the Association’s preparations for the upcoming SACCA Congress and the Regulatory Roundtable Conference scheduled for October, 2024.
The Vice President assured them of his full support.
