As part of The Gambia Government public service reform process, the Pensions Directorate at the Personnel Management Office (PMO) initiated the development of software for effective pension management.
A day-long workshop was recently organised by PMO to internally validate the software programme, held at Metzy Residence Hotel, Kotu.
The software was developed by a local consultant, Mr. Momodou Jatta, Deputy Accountant General and his team, in collaboration with the Personnel Management Office’s Pensions Directorate staff.
Speaking on the occasion, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary (PS) at the Personnel Management Office,  the Deputy Permanent Secretary (DPS) (Finance and Administration) at the Personnel Management Office, Mr Mustapha Nyabally commended the stakeholders for attending the validation workshop, adding that this development came at an opportune moment for PMO Pensions Directorate.
“Validating Pensions Software at this time is crucial. The software is geared towards improving the work at the Personnel Management Office’ Pension directorate,” DPS Nyabally affirmed.
He lauded the developer and team; more especially the team from PMO Pensions Directorate for a job well done.
