Gambian International Ebrima Singhateh plying his trade in the first league of Czech Republic has signed a year contract with MFK Karavina, ending his 2-year spell at Slavia Praha in the first league.
Speaking to Gambia Daily Sports, the forward player said he is moving because he needs more exposure and game time.
Reflecting on his career, Singhateh described it as great, “because there was a lot of improvement in my career; from second league to first league”. He added: “I scored a lot of goals, which is important as a forward player”.
He said he had a difficult start with his football career but that he is grateful that things have turned better.
About his plans, The Gambian international had this to say: “First we all need a better life; help family, friends, neighbours and to invest to gain something because football will not last. Life after football also needs to be considered”.
Despite anticipating a call into the national team in the near future, Singhateh says he understands that he needs to work hard and keep improving.
