Banjul, 10th March 2025: The Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services has informed that during its last week meeting – Thursday 6th March - cabinet approved a new policy for Office of the Vice President. The policy was presented by the Vice President, Mohammed B.S. Jallow.
Minister Ceesay explained that the policy seeks to promote the Office of the Vice President’s affairs, in particular to streamline coordination within entities under the purview of the OVP, in order to make it more efficient and effective.
He informed that cabinet had duly reviewed the policy and approved it accordingly. He said other programmes and policies were discussed for the nation’s interest and development.
The cabinet meeting was presided over by His Excellency President Adama Barrow.
