Gambia Amputee Football Association Visits MoYS

The Gambia Amputee Football Association recently paid a cutesy visit to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Honorable, Bakary Y. Badjieat his office in Banjul. 
The visit underscored the spirit of collaboration and mutual support between the government and The Gambia Amputee Football Association.
The delegation, which included team members and management, briefed the minister on their recent participation in Egypt. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the ministry’s support, which has been instrumental in making their dreams a reality.
For his part, Minister Badjie reaffirmed government’s commitment to supporting all youth and sporting activities, with a special focus on inclusivity for people with disabilities. 
He emphasized the government’s dedication to ensuring that all athletes, regardless of their physical abilities, have the support they need to succeed.
Ebrima Jallow, one of the players, highlighted the ministry’s crucial assistance during their time of need and thanked them for their unwavering support. 
Baboucarr Jobe, head of the delegation, provided a detailed update on the team’s participation and achievements.
Ndey Marie Njie, Permanent Secretary, offered words of advice and reassurance, emphasising the ministry’s commitment to support the team.
