Honorable Haddy Nyang-Jagne’s contribution to national development during her two-term stint as NAM for Jeshwang earned her the respect and reward of the ‘Accident and Emergency Unit' at Kanifing General Hospital named after her.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony held at the hospital, the administrator of the hospital, Baboucar M.A. Saine hailed the donor for her timely support, and affirmed that the partnership between Madam Nyang-Jagne and the hospital started when she was National Assembly member for Jeshwang constituency.

Saine noted that the hospital the biggest in Kanifing and that the equipment will help protect their staff when they are on active services.

Presenting the equipment to the hospital administrator on behalf of the donor, Jainaba Nyang Njie, sister to Hon. Haddy Nyang-Jagne, reminded that The Gambia is gripped by the Coronavirus pandemic for the past months; hence her sister with the support of her husband Mr. Kara Jagne and family deemed fit to contribute her part to the fight.

“While serving at ECOWAS, Hon. Haddy Nyang-Jagne was praised for her diligent service to the ECOWAS Community,” she remarked about her sister.
