FIFA Elite Referees Training Concludes in Old Yundum

 

The FIFA Member Associations elite Referees course came to a close in The Gambia on Thursday 18th July 2024 at the National Technical Training Centre (NTTC) in Old Yundum
Presiding over the closing ceremony, GFF First Vice President Bakary K. Jammeh reiterated the importance GFF attaches to capacity-building programmes for productive football development in the country. While thanking FIFA/CAF and the international instructors, Mr. Jammeh renewed the federation’s commitment to supporting referees’ welfare, including their remuneration in the upcoming season. He recognized Bakary Papa Gassama as a role model, ambassador, and living legend to be proud of.
Course Director Ali Mohamed Ahmed expressed gratitude to the federation and urged participants to make the best use of their newly acquired knowledge in their respective assignments.
The closing ceremony was punctuated with presentation of certificates to participants. 
In attendance were GFF Finance Director and Acting General Secretary Mr Kemo Ceesay and staff of the GFF Technical Department.
