Env’t Minister Impressed with ‘Incredible Talent of Some Gambian Youths’, in Env’tal Protection

During a recent visit to the Precious Plastic Gambia Company in Gunjur, a remarkable plastic recycling company that transforms waste into beautiful and valuable, the Hon. Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources, Rohey John-Mamjang expressed immense delight for witnessing the incredible talent of  Gambian youths, who are actively taking climate action and protecting the environment in innovative ways.  “Their creativity and dedication are truly inspiring,” she affirmed.
The Minister assured the group of the government’s unwavering support and commitment to their endeavours. “We are proud to support initiatives that not only help the environment but also empower our youth and communities”.
She pledged support to provide the company with one of the tricycles donated by ECOWAS to ease waste collection mobility.
At the end of the visit, the delegation purchased Precious Plastic Gambia’s exquisite products made from recycled materials, in a show of support and celebration of such eco-friendly initiatives.
