Defence Ministry Celebrates 2 Staff for Completing Master's Programmes

<The Ministry of Defence under the stewardship of Hon.Sheikh Omar Faye wishes to congratulate two of her diligent staff, Lieutenant Commander Adama Trawally, the liaison Officer and Mr.Jesse Dacosta, the planner at the Ministry, who have just completed their master’s program in their respective disciplines.

Lieutenant Commander Trawalleh completed a Master Degree of Science in Defence and International Politics from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He also did his Senior Command Staff Course at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFSC).

The Senior Officer is currently serving as the Gambia Armed Forces Liaison officer at the Ministry. Prior to his scholarship award, he held numerous positions both with GAF and MOD where he accomplished his tasks to expectations hence that prompted his scholarship award.

Mr.Jesse Dacosta, the planner at the Ministry also completed a Master’s Degree program on sustainable Development and Public Administration from the KDI SCHOOL in the Republic of South Korea. Over the years, Mr.Dacosta has work diligently and contributed immensely to the development of the Ministry as a government Institution.

While extending hearty congratulations to both for the well-deserved success, the Ministry of Defence also wishes them the best of luck on their future endeavors.

In a similar development, the Honourable Minister and staff would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Major Basiru Sarr, the Military Adviser and Lieutenant Commander Trawalleh for successfully passing their Promotional exams conducted at the Gambia Armed Forces Training School in Fajara.
