Value Jet Airlines’ maiden flight on the Lagos-Banjul route is expected to arrive today, Thursday, by 11 p.m. at the Banjul International Airport.
This inaugural flight symbolises a major initiative by the government to improve regional connectivity. It is also anticipated to increase tourism and investment between The Gambia and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Lagos-Banjul service will operate twice weekly, with outbound flights departing Lagos every Thursday and Sunday.
Return flights from Banjul are scheduled for Mondays and Fridays, departing at 12:30 a.m. and arriving in Lagos by 5:00 a.m.
All flights will operate out of the new terminal at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos
