ITC SheTrades project, under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment on Tuesday, June 9, signed an MOU with the Gambia Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GWCC).
The objective is to strengthen GWCC's capacity to support women entrepreneurs across The Gambia. The MOU entails support to programmes related to advocacy on procurement and opportunities, as well as creating business linkages through Business to Business (B2B) meetings.
A regional chapter will be established across all regions in The Gambia to assist women in rural areas with local training and facilitate access to procurement opportunities.
